Welcome to your day at Glass Social.

Breakfast can be set up on the kitchen bar, a central location in the open-concept interior.

Everyone knows the most important meal of the day is breakfast. On your way to Glass Social, pick up catering from one of the nearby local establishments, like Austin-based Torchy’s Tacos whose breakfast tacos are made with cage-free eggs (Haymaker co-founder, Kate Harwood, recommends the migas).  If French pastries are more your tasse de te’ (that’s ‘cup of tea’ in French) you’ll find a lovely selection at Austin’s only authentic, from-scratch French pastry shop, La Patisserie. Soraiya Nagree, owner and baker, and Lezlie Mills, head pastry chef, have created their mouth-watering menu, which includes croissants, cobrios, morning buns, beignets, tea breads, and muffins. And you might as well have some of their don’t-miss macarons added to your order for that mid-afternoon pick-me-up. Breakfast can be set up on the kitchen bar, a central location in the open-concept interior. Get the meeting started right away, or encourage team members to explore the space. Inside, local Austinite Patrick Puckett’s art is on display for guest enjoyment before it’s time to get down to business.

…head to the back yard to relax in the tree swing, chat in one of the open areas, or even jump on the in-ground trampoline.

While actual meeting needs vary, flexibility is key. At Glass Social, there are two tables that seat 12 (one indoor, one out), a bar that seats 6, and a sectional sofa that seats 8-10, as well as additional outdoor seating, making the space versatile enough to accommodate and elevate most meetings formats.

You can watch the bats take flight every evening from the bridge, south lawn, or even rent a chartered boat from Lone Star Cruises or Capital Cruises.

Wind down your day with dinner at a nearby restaurant.

With fresh fish and oysters flown in daily from both coasts, and an emphasis classic preparations, Perla’s has the best seafood and oysters south of Town Lake. Dine on the oak-shaded patio or comfortable airy dining room with a saltwater fish tank and open kitchen.  Or, hit Austin staple Vespaio, the best Italian fare in the city. With a kitchen focused on locally sourced ingredients and items made from scratch, their stocks, charcuterie, fresh pasta, breads, desserts and cheese are all made in house.
