Cancellation Policy

 

Guests:

Reservations
Reservations are charged at the moment the booking is made. Reservation cancellation periods are pre-selected by Haymaker hosts and fall one of four periods: 30 day, 7 day, 48 hour and 24 hour period.
If a reservation is booked with less than 24 hours prior to the start of the reservation, it is not eligible for refund if canceled.

Cancellation Periods:
30 Day Period: Guests will receive no refund if booking is canceled within 30 days of the beginning of the reservation. Guest will receive full refund if booking is canceled prior to 30 days of the beginning of the reservation.
7 Day Period: Guests will receive no refund if booking is canceled within 7 days of the beginning of the reservation. Guest will receive full refund if booking is canceled prior to 7 days of the beginning of the reservation.
48 Hour Period: Guests will receive no refund if booking is canceled within 48 Hours of the beginning of the reservation. Guest will receive full refund if booking is canceled prior to 48 Hours of the beginning of the reservation.
24 Hour Period: Guests will receive no refund if booking is canceled within 24 Hours of the beginning of the reservation. Guest will receive full refund if booking is canceled prior to 24 Hours of the beginning of the reservation.

Hosts:

Acceptable Cancellation Periods

Upon creation of a location for booking on the Haymaker application, each space must include a cancellation period. The cancellation period must be included in the space description. Acceptable cancellation periods are as listed above and in the host terms.

Cancellations Initiated by Hosts

Hosts must make reasonable efforts to avoid canceling a guest reservation. If cancellation of a host space is unavoidable, host must contact guest as quickly as possible to inform them of the host’s inability to accommodate their reservation. Host must also contact Haymaker at support@haymakerspace.com to inform Haymaker of the cancellation. If host’s calendar is subsequently booked for the same time period with a different reservation, the host’s use of the Haymaker marketplace may be suspended or canceled.

Cancellations made by a host within 24 hours of the beginning of a reservation will result in a penalty of 100% of the total booking fee. This penalty will be withheld from scheduled Haymaker payouts to the host until the full obligation of the penalty is met.

Cancellations made by a host prior to 24 hours of the beginning of a reservation will result in a penalty of 50% of the total booking fee. This penalty will be withheld from scheduled Haymaker payouts to the host until the full obligation of the penalty is met.

Refunds:

Provided the guest cancels their reservation with the host within the refundable cancellation period, refunds (full or partial) will be credited to the guest credit card within 5-7 business days after confirmation of cancellation.
