Welcome, Cindy!

Tell us about yourself.
My husband, David, and I have lived in our home for 8 years. We have two grown daughters living in Houston and San Antonio.

Utilizing our house for a dual purpose has proved to fit our lifestyle. It started with us hosting private retreats, classes and meetings then eventually led to listing our home as a rentable space for others to use in similar ways.

Tell us about your space.
The space is open, bright, and airy with lots of natural light. Boosting elevated views over the treetops of rural Westlake Hills. Along the entire length of the West side of the home is a 112’ deck with several venues to sit and relax or hang out in between meetings. There is a large common area with dining, living and kitchen all in full view of each other.

What is unique about your space?
The ease of the home inspires creativity and clarity through interior design and a bold view of nature.

What are three things you’d like potential guests to know about renting your space? I want everything to be kept as simple for clients as possible. I’m very familiar with Austin’s best caterers, planners, florists etc. should you need vetted recommendations. I’m happy to help you plan to end a day of meetings with cocktails, yard games and a food truck or to arrange a chef to come in and cook for your team. I love designing events big or small.

Tell us about the location of your space.
We are located just outside of Austin in Westlake Hills. The area allows you to feel removed from the hustle, while amenities are close by.

What are your favorite nearby activities for a group or solo outing?
Take a walk along Lady Bird Lake, enjoy Mozart’s on the lake, relax at Zilker Park, check out South Congress, swim at Barton Springs and much more.

If you were to work remotely from your space, where would you set up?
I’m lucky to say I work from home most of the time. My favorite area is sitting at the dining room table facing the hill country view. The simplicity, clean lines and natural materials of the Midcentury design brings a sense of calm and focus you don’t get in the traditional work environment.
